WE have found, but not yet published that a short 1-2 mins burst of
focal cerebral ischaemia, 1 week before the main prolonged ischaemia
that we actually see a decrease in hippocampal neuronal cell death,
however we haven't set up the learning and memory paradigms properly to
see the effects of our compounds as
a) Neuroprotective agents,
b) new memory formation "enhancers" for what of a better word.
However my boss has a couple of paper on this subjects but shes not
here, doesn't read this ng and her filing cabinett is locked (what a
bummer eh)
