For the past year I have been working on the effects of new generation
hypnotics over spatial-sensory learning and memory on different rodent
species, obtaining great differences on the effects in each specie. I am
now working on the Histology studies of these brains and would like to know:
In cases of high chronic-acute dosages of hypnotics like benzodiazepines
where can one find any citologic damage within the C.N.S., if there is
any?
Are there many differences in the distribution of GABA-A receptor within
the C.N.S. of different species, specially of the different suptypes??
Where can I find this receptor distribution maps?
Thanks for your help,
