Clockwise and anticlockwise myelin segments

Can someone out there advise about the sense - clockwise and
anti-clockwise of successive internodes of a myelin sheath? I have
read that it is a 50-50 distribution, but this could be either a
random distribution like tosses of a coin or a systematic
alternation of the two directions. In the light of the regularity
in control of development by the Hox genes it makes more sense if it
is the latter case.

Thanks in advance Gord
