What: Comprehensive Stereology Workshop in New Orleans following Society For
Neurosciences meeting.
"APPLICATIONS OF UNBIASED STEREOLOGY TO NEURAL SYSTEMS"
Sponsored by the Pathology Department
at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine
WHEN: NOVEMBER 1-4, 1997
WHERE: Ramada Inn Plaza Hotel, 2203 St. Charles Ave., New Orleans, LA 70140
We are pleased to annouce the third annual Stereology Workshop will be
held in New Orleans following the 1997 Annual Society For Neurosciences
meeting. The three-and-a-half day Stereology Workshop will provide
intensive training in the stereological analysis of biological structure,
with special emphasis on the mamalian nervous system. Lectures and
hands-on exercises will be presented by experienced stereologists,
neuroscientists and engineers. Participants will have the opportunity to
present current projects for group discussion in an informal setting. The
Workshop includes hand-on practice with integrated hardware-software
computerized systems for stereological analysis. A detailed workbook with
practical aids and complete references will be distributed to all
participants.
