My impression of this "Society and Medicine" post is that it's some sort of
school essay.
The sweeping generalizations made are so vague, they are almost meaningless:
"... break away from the Victorian values..."??
"... allow the medical profession to work with people and not for its
self..."??
And how do social workers (LCSW's?) (mentioned in graf #1) influence the
administration of medicine in a market economy?
Truly, if the writer wishes to receive thoughtful responses to her posts,
she needs to better express her contentions...
