Once you get used to making those leaps of faith, leaps of logic get
easier and easier, don't they?

You went from an assertion that "religious" people and "atheists"
(however you are defining them)  live longer than "people without
beliefs" (however you are defining them -- btw the whole thing sounds
like a crock to me) and jump to the "hardwiring" of the brain to
accept religion?  And then jump to a protective mechanism regarding
mortality?

It's fascinating to have this look into your demons, but you do
realize that this is only about you, don't you?
