[to all: Although I've tried, I cannot say, with certainty, that I've gotten
the "Automation of Knowing..." ms. to the Palestinians. If I've failed, I
hope that someone with the capacity for doing so, will "translate" what's
here for Mr. Arafat, as best you can. Thank you, whoever you are.]
TO THE LEADERSHIP OF THE PALESTINIANS AND ISRAELIS:
Do not mistake your situation for anything other than what it is.
Your peoples are, once again, at the "point of inversion". The only 4
outcomes that are possible are as is described in AoK, Ap4.
When populations go through "iversion", the pre-inversion TD E/I remains
"constant", but affect can only bifurcate (quite fittingly, as a "Y"
decision point with respect to behavior).
If your populations make it through the "point of inversion" (the "point of
maximum randomness"; of maximum TD E/I), behavioral directionalities will be
topologically "inside-out and backward" relative to pre-inversion behavioral
directionalities, and post-inversion affect will transform, with magnitude
commensurate with pre-inversion TD E/I, into steadily-decreasing TD E/I
affect.
"Moving away from" is transformed into "moving toward". The accompanying
affective inversion is from "negative" to "positive".
If your populations do not make it through the "point of inversion",
behavioral directionalities remain as they are, but intensify, because
short-term TD E/I(up, up) is "contagious" within populations (individuals
acting out TD E/I(up, up) behaviors induce TD E/I(up, up) within those who
experience the first folks' behavior (see AoK, Ap8). "Moving away from"
behavioral directionalities become dramatically more pronounced. This is the
TD E/I "state" which underpins the violence of war.
The terrible burden is on you, Mr. Arafat. Your actions will be the TD E/I
focal point. The only chance of the Israelis and the Palestinians making it
successfully through the "point of inversion" rests upon your
Champion-of-Peace shoulders. You and Mr. Barak are no strangers with respect
to what's entailed. You've both already been through profound personal
"inversion" at least once... when you each courageously chose to "invert"
from Warrior to Statesman. Mr. Barak is entering his new role now, but he
understands the Heart of Mr. Rabin, and that understanding will serve him
well.
You, too, are up to the task, Mr. Arafat. The only difficulty exists in
being "impatient". "Impatience" is, itself, a TD E/I(up) generator. In
less-pressing situations (when overall, population-wide TD E/I is not so
high), such TD E/I(up) generators can be useful in "urging" folks to action,
but in the present situation, with TD E/I already so high across both the
Palestinian and Israeli Societies (and within the whole Middle East),
there's no room for such... minor things can trigger low-level supersystem
configuration (AoK, Ap5).
So, Sir, you must put on determined patience.
I understand that you've concerns for your health. I encourage you to be
strongly-patient, regardless, and put your Trust in God's hands. Not only
will this choice serve as a guiding light to your own people, it will also
resonate with the Israeli population, who understand the sorrow inherent at
the end of Moses' own great leadership. To be True to the Hope for Peace, no
matter what, is the thing. If you choose thusly, you will be a shining light
to all people, everywhere, and live on in hearts filled with good will.
Thus, you will assure that, no matter what, those who follow will have great
reason to follow your Lead. I share your sorrow, but God never asks of
anyone more than they are capable of... when a Leader is capable of all, God
asks all. Be of strong heart. Have no fear. Stand up in the midst of your
great responsibilities, reach out for, and grasp Peace tightly, and don't
let it slip from your grasp.
Mr. Barak, I ask you to proceed with brilliantly-clear awareness of your own
courage, that of Mr. Arafat, that of your two Peoples, and the hopes of the
Israeli People and the Palestinian People for the futures of all of the
Children of both of your Societies.
Let your lights shine into the dark places of the hearts of all people,
everywhere.
I will pray for the complete success of your great mutual endeavor.
Sincerely, K. P. Collins (ken)
