I am a retired neuropathologist . I would like some one to tell me a little
about teenage neuronal pruning. The concept is new to me , but I can see
that closing down some pathways so as to narrow and focus the brain's
activity would be in line with the obvious 'maturing and analysing'' period
leading to an adult fixed
personality by say 25 years. It seems to me to be extremely relevant to
teenage origin diseases such as Schizophrenia.
