Well, there is no doubt at all that left-handers are over-represented
in baseball, for essentially similar, but perhaps stronger, reasons.
(Left-handed pitchers have a substantial advantage over righties, when
facing right-handed batters, because the lateral motion of the ball,
as perceived by the batter, is much less, so the batter has a more
difficult time judging how the ball is moving.)  But I suspect that
the factors that come into play in music are somewhat different.
