NDT is a bit more than this. The theory =integrates= the work done by
the Neuroanatomists and Neuroscience Experimentalists.
Before NDT, the approach to Neuroscience was 'disconnected'. Folks
were heaping-up =Wonderful= results, but the results were not being
cross-correlated, nor integrated.
This's what NDT does.
And NDT provides the principles through which the cross-correlation
and integrated are accomplished.
Such principles, themselves reducing directly to the work of the
Neuroanatomists and the Neuroscience Experimentalists, form NDT's
theoretical substance, which, when applied, transforms Neuroscience
from it's disconnected 'state' into a unified whole.
This's in the tradition of the what Copernicus and Keppler did in
Planetary Astronomy, what Newton and Einstein did in Natural
Philosophy, what Darwin, Mendel and Crick, Watson, and their
unheralded Crystalographer, did in Biology.
When folks take the position that "there's nothing in NDT", it's
because they just don't know the Neuroscience, and, so, because NDT
is 100% Neuroscience, cannot see anything.
They're operating within a behavioral 'range' that derives,
primarily, in 'normal', every-'day' Societal-interaction stuff, which
is, typically, devoid of anything having to do with neuroscientific
discussion.
However, since such is their 'whole-world', they can't discern that
they're 'casting-'ndt'-in-their-own-image, and just not Seeing NDT,
its principles, its rigorous foundation in Neuroscience, nor its
worth to Humanity.
But, in the act [as is briefly explained in AoK, Ap10], they heap
substantiation upon NDT.
It's the way with Truth.
Doesn't matter what one does with respect to it.
Truth shines-through.
