Whence comes "consumer confidence", or the lack of such?

Truth.

The supposed 'downturn' in 'consumer confidence' that supposedly grips to U. S. Economy is actually a 'horse of a different collor'.

What's actually happening is that the 'deception-is-good' approach to doing 'business' is being understood for what it was - 'moving away from' Truth.

'Enterprise' reliant upon 'deception' always grinds to a hault be-cause the energy-costs of 'deception', eventually, always become greater than can be expended by the 'enterprise' that relies in 'deception'.

And Truth, which is a Thermodynamic, around which there is no way, asserts itself.

"The 'cookie' crumbles."

While such is occurring, there is the superficial appearance of there being 'no end to it', but what's actually happening is that folks're 'just' calling themselves to task with respect to Truth.

So, what 'looks-like' 'reduced consumer confidence' is just a correlate of Good and Worthy Work being done 'beneath the surface'.

Folks're tossing-out 'deception' as a way of 'doing business'. Folks're realizing it's costs. Folks're comprehending its futility. And folks're constructing a new foundation for actually Doing Business, founded in-Truth.

Think about what it will mean when an Investor can actually make Investing Choices on the basis of Truth.

It will mean that, instead of being a 'crap-shoot', the development of an Investment Strategy will be founded in Logic - one will be able to seek out, and invest in, for instance, the manufacturer of a proven product, and its supply-chain.

Of course, this sort of thing requires continuous inputs - exposing of 'scams', and other 'take the money and run' schemes that rely in 'deception' [you know, 'hype' this and 'hype' that, 'promise the world', all the while, the thing at the 'heart' of the 'buisness' being, "We'll make a fortune before anyone will realize that it's all just hot-air."

Anyway, the supposed downturn in 'consumer confidence' is not that, but is folks 'moving away from' 'deception', and 'moving toward' Truth.

The 'stalling' that's superficially apparent is just due to folks' working 'beneath the surface', restructuring, building on genuinely-solid foundation stuff - Truth.

There is one 'caveat': The process must be Led. Of it's own course, without such Leadership, folks'll 'grasp at straws', and 'bail-out' before Integrity is restored, and able to become self-sustaining.

If such is allowed to happen, the misery will just repeat cyclically, ad infinitum, leaving This Nation Vulnerable to happenstance.

[Folks who want to 'look-under-the-hood' with respect to what's here have everything they need in AoK. "Rendering Useless" of 'deceptive business practice", AoK, Ap8, "zone of randomness" and "inversion", AoK, Ap4, "volitional diminishing-returns decision", AoK, Ap7, and, in general, the rest of AoK, especially with respect to prejudice - treating folks like 'dupes' is 'just' Prejudice, writ-plain. Toss such out. Work to Honor folks who patronize your Business. Respect them. Do with respect to them as you would have done with respect to yourself. See them as Being Equal to you in every way, rather than treating them as targets-for-'deception', otherwise, you're only 'shooting yourself', and your company, 'in the foot'. Calculating that you'll be able to 'deceive', and run with investors' money, before the investors can figure it all out.

Such is Doomed to failure, be-cause the energy-consumption required to sustain the 'deception' wildly-outstrips the rate at which an individual, or a group, or a Nation, can expend energy in the course of carrying all the 'deception' forward.

Why?

It's simple - instead of expending energy in doing only what needs to be done, 'deception' Requires everything attempted by individuals, groups, and Nations, to 'run the gauntlet' of the parameters that sustain the 'deception'.

Rely in 'deception', and the work inherent in sustaining all of the "deception's" parameters wildly-outstrips the work inherent in doing this or that in a 'moving toward' Truth way.

Look and see: the twain are readily discerned.

That is, 'deception' is self-disclosing.

Visible to all, in terms of the TD E/I that 'deception' imposes within experience.

Anyway, it's not a 'downturn in consumer confidence', but as above.

The thing that's Crucial is Leadership that 'moves away from' 'deception', and 'moves toward' Truth.
