A postdoctoral position in area of cellular and
molecular neurobiology is available at Department of
Physiology and Cell Biology, University of Nevada,
Reno. Qualified candidates should hold PhD in
biological sciences and should have practical
knowledge of some areas of experimental neurobiology.
Previous experience in molecular biology, protein
interaction studies or electron microscopy as well as
mouse and/or chicken animal models is desirable.
The research project is aimed to identify mechanisms
and factors participating in axonal transport of
neurotrophic factors (mainly neurotrophins) in vitro
and in vivo (visual system). Motivated and creative
