[Neuroscience] salt bridges - NaCl?

Hello,
 
Can anyone answer or remark on this: Salt bridges - traditionally they are made with KCl - 2.5 or 3M. But I know sometimes people make them with NaCl - for example, when K+ leak can affect the results. Anyone knows other reasons to work with NaCl bridges? Reasons not to?
