In the most recent Molecular and Biochemical Parasitology,
which I just received, there is a paper by Roditi et al.
(MBP 63, 275-282, 1994: Virus-like particles in Eimeria
nieschulzi are associated with multiple RNA segments). They
also cite an earlier paper on this species (Sepp et al,
Parasitology Research 77, 581-584, 1991) where they detected
RNA-dependent RNA polymerase activity associated with the VLPs.
