possible threadworm infection?

With so many knowledgeable persons in the field of parasitology,
perhaps one of you may have heard of a similar infection such as ours. We
have symptoms such as hair loss (generally not total baldness in infected
areas but rather the hair appears almost as if cut or recently shaved),
our skin has a waxy feeling and seems (in areas affected) to have an
orange (more or less) buildup. We have bumps under the skin particularly
in the scalp, and occasionally red lines appear on the skin. These
eventually disappear however some of them open into what seem like slices
in the skin. At the same time that these things have been happening to us
(about 2 years now) our environment has similarly been infected. There is
an orange substance that stains clothing, the walls, carpeting,
etc. This same substance (somewhat oily) also gets into electrical
equipment, appliances, radios and causes malfunction. There is also an
unusual increase in lint. This stuff gets into our clothes and either
consumes some of them or uses the material to wrap itself in. There is
also an odor caused by this organism both on our bodies and in our
environment. The medical establishment refuses to believe that there is
a relationship between our symptoms and those of our environment. We live
in Northern California (Eureka). Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any
ideas to help us? e-mail> dougzen at humboldt1.com
