I work in University of Udine (Italy). In this moment I need help to identify a parasite. Unfortunately in the taxonomic atlas that I have it there isn't. This nematode beoloning to superfamily Metastrongyloidea and it is in the lung of red panda in an Italian zoo. Fortunately in the lung I found some male adult and so I can attach an image. So I hope someone can help me identify it or at least give me some advice to those who ask. I suppose I can belong to the family Crenosomatidae: perhaps a Paracrenosoma. Thanks in advance Best regards from Italy http://www.nabble.com/file/p18770846/Capture_00015b.jpg -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/parasite-identification--taxomony-tp18770846p18770846.html Sent from the Bio.net - Parasite mailing list archive at Nabble.com. That was last year and I was wondering whether you were able to find a source. I'm from the World Health Organization, based in Manila, Philippines, and had previously ordered and received in substantial quantities this item for the Malaria Programme in the Philippines. Our previous supplier was Vestergaard-Frandsen and the Kato-Katz kit came from the office in New Delhi, India. I am now having difficulty in locating an alternative source as Vestergaard-Frandsen has informed me on this August 2008 that they are not doing any Kat Katz kit at the moment. Thank you so much for your assistance. Danny Galvez Assistant, Supply World Health Organization P.O. Box 2932 U.N. Avenue cor. Taft Avenue Ermita, Manila Philippines Tel.
