Dear all:

I am an novice of protein analysis and my research plan
is to express, purify and NMR a small protein. The protein
is not stable in E.coli since it's only 5 KD. Now I have
obtained the fusion protein with GST(26KD).

My question is:

Is it easy to purify, remove GST and get my target protein?
How can I determine the conformation of the target protein
is native and stable since it is expressed in E.coli?
What else must I do before going on to NMR?

Would you please give me some advices and experience? I am
anxious of my experiments and looking foward to your reply.
Thank you very much!
