Postdoctoral Position
Department of Biology and Biochemistry
University of Bath, UK

A three-year position funded by The Wellcome Trust is available to study the
structure and function of bacterial virulence proteins and their complexes
with host cell proteins. Proven research skills in high resolution
heteronuclear multidimensional NMR spectroscopy and related computational
applications towards protein resonance assignment and structure calculation
are essential. Experience with protein expression, purification and
characterisation is also desirable.

The lab possesses a 4-channel 600 MHz NMR spectrometer and is well equipped
for computation, protein expression and protein purification. The
Department of Biology and Biochemistry at Bath has two protein
crystallography groups in addition to the NMR group and has recently
expanded with seven new faculty appointments.

Interested candidates should e-mail their CV with the names, addresses, and
e-mail of two references to bsssb@bath.ac.uk or
