Postdoctoral position immediately available to study the effects of the
environmental pollutant perchlorate on thyroid hormones using in vitro
and in vivo models. Position requires a Ph.D. in toxicology,
endocrinology, biochemistry, or related field . Candidate should have
advanced knowledge of all aspects of basic tissue culture procedures,
including use of clonal cell lines and primary cell cultures.
Experience with ion channels, radioligand binding and molecular biology
including cell transfection techniques is desirable. Knowledge of
thyroid hormone biochemistry is advantageous.
