The most common "Hayem solution" is for dilution of red blood cells so it
is possible to count them by a microscope and a Thoma camera.
Hayem solution is:
HgCl2 (mercury di-chlorure) 0.5 gr
Na2SO4 (natrium sulphate) 5.0 gr
NaCl (natrium chlorure) 1.0 gr
distilled water 200 ml.
