Has anyone any experience of spiking pyrene onto algae in order to
conduct feeding trials? I would like to acheive concentrations in the
10's of mg / g dwt. algae - high I know, but the animals involved
(springtails) are small and capable of metabolising pyrene relatively
rapidly, so to generate levels of metabolites > that LOD / LOQ, i want
to be sure that the dose is high. Please reply to "howsam at bio.vu.nl".
