POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN ENVIRONMENTAL TOXICOLOGY
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position at Kansas State
University focusing on toxicological aspects of environmental contaminants
which affect the public health and safe environment of air, water and land.
In laboratory and in field settings, teams will provide ecological and
environmental assessments of biohazards through research, community and
professional information transfer, and state-of-the-art risk assessments.
Training toward a PhD degree is available if not already achieved. Minimum
requirements include a biologically-oriented undergraduate or graduate
degree and an enthusiasm for scholarly problem solving. A DVM, graduate
training, or 1 or more years of practical toxicology-related experience is
desirable. Will be expected to integrate into appropriate service,
instructional, and research efforts of the University. Annual salary
$25,000 to $35,000 depending upon qualifications. Position is available
