The CIIT Centers for Health Research in Research Triangle Park, NC is
seeking a postdoctoral fellow with Ph.D., D.V.M., or M.D. degrees to join a
research program in Endocrine/Reproductive Toxicology.

Endocrine/Reproductive Toxicology
A postdoctoral fellowship is available to study the biological interactions
of phytoestrogens and synthetic endocrine active compounds on steroid
hormone-regulated developmental processes. The current focus of research is
the mechanisms of xenobiotic actions on mammary gland development. A variety
of morphological, biochemical, and genomic tools are being utilized in this
project. The emphasis of training at the CIIT postdoctoral program is on
research skills as well as on career building for young scientists.
Candidates should have a recent Ph.D. degree in the biological sciences,
knowledge of mammalian physiology, familiarity with molecular biology
techniques, and a strong interest in the project. Placement Time Frame:
