A research postdoctoral position is available in Dr. Shashi Ramaiah’s
laboratory in the Departments of Pathobiology and Interdisciplinary
Program in Toxicology to study molecular mechanisms underlying
inflammatory alcoholic liver and pancreatic disease.  NIH-funded
Research involves identification of novel interacting proteins and
biochemical characterization of signal transduction pathways governing
inflammation in rodent and in vitro models.  

Qualifications: A highly competent motivated PhD is sought with a solid
background in cell biology and expertise in molecular biological methods
for the study of inflammation in liver and pancreas. Experience in
molecular and cellular biology, signaling transduction, inflammation
biology, cell culture and rodent models is required. Recent graduates
preferred and proficiency in written and spoken English required. Please
