DNA isolation and characterizartion from Axolotls

Dear UroNet,

    I have a couple of undergraduate students interested in DNA isolation
procedures from amphibians (Urodeles) for student projects in their Cell
Biology course. Does anyone out there have a good, simple DNA isolation
procedure for amphibians? Our tissue source would [robably be
spermatophores.
