ORGANISMAL DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGIST
=09The Department of Integrative Biology seeks an innovative,=20
problem-oriented biologist who uses a diversity of techniques to=20
explore the evolution of developmental processes and patterns of=20
evolution in animals with an emphasis on the organismal level. =20
Research areas of interest include, but are not limited to: the=20
genetic, molecular, and cellular bases of the development of form,=20
developmental dynamics (cell/tissue interactions), musculoskeletal=20
development, or comparative ontogenesis. Teaching=20
responsibilities include an undergraduate course in organismal=20
developmental biology, participation in a core course, and the=20
development of graduate seminars in the areas of the candidate=D5s=20
interests. =20
=09The position is open to Ph. D. scientists at any level -=20
assistant to full professor -- and will complement the current=20
departmental faculty, which includes evolutionists, physiologists,=20
morphologists, systematists, ecologists, behaviorists, and=20
population geneticists, all of whom work interactively and=20
multidisciplinarily. Completed applications must be received by=20
