I didn't understand the term "naive" in the abstract at the beginning of this thread. Are those T cell precursors,
like stem cells? It seems that it won't help up regulate telomerase if the reservoir of stem T cells is depleted.
But maybe you are saying to do so while people are still young. What happens during stem cell replication? does one
cell remain a stem cell (able to divide again) while the other becomes a differentiated T cell, specific to a
particular pathogen?
