in situ hybridization/fixing of sections

On Feb., 17, I asked for some recommendations concerning the fixing of plant
tissue sections on glass slides for in situ hybridization.
In the meanwhile I got 21 answers to it, all of them very valuable. Most
recommended the use of commercially sold pretreated slides, called "Superfrost
Plus" or "ProbeOn Plus".
