Responsible for managing the laboratory, supervising assigned staff and
students, maintaining and operating specialized labor equipment, budget
management and maintenance of current literature databases. Design, modify,
and conduct complex scientific experiments and analyze results. Perform plant
molecular biological research. Requires Master's degree, or equivalent, plus
three months to one year of work-related experience.
THIS IS A FIXED-TERM POSITION FUNDED THROUGH JUNE 30, 1997, WITH GOOD
POSSIBILITY OF RE-FUNDING.
