Postdoctoral Position
Plant Molecular Genetics

A postdoctoral position in molecular genetics is available at the
Plant Gene Expression Center located in Albany, CA approximately 2
miles from the University campus at Berkeley. The individual will be
responsible for mapping and cloning the recently isolated auxin
hypersensitive defective gene expression mutants (age) using genomic
technologies. The mutations affect components of the auxin signaling
apparatus allowing expression of GUS driven by the early auxin
responsive domains A and B (AuxRD, A,B}. A strong background in
genetics and molecular biology is required. The appointment will be
for 2 years. The annual salary level will depend on experience and
qualifications. Please send a c.v. to Dr. A. Theologis, Plant Gene
Expression Center, 800 Buchanan Street, Albany, CA 94710, or by email
to: theo at nature.berkeley.edu
