Dissection of Signal Transduction Pathways of Host-Pathogen
Interactions

Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, Yale
University

	</fontfamily><fontfamily><param>Geneva</param>A postdoctoral
position is available immediately to study signaling in plant-microbe
interactions. We are using combined genetic and molecular approaches
in the model plant system Arabidopsis and crop plants
tomato and tobacco to:

1) gain insight into how plant resistance genes mediated signal
transduction pathways lead to hypersensitive response (localized cell
death), restriction of pathogen spread and systemic acquired resistance
(Science 276:726-733) and

2) study viral pathogenesis.
