Post-doctoral position
Arabidopsis Developmental Genetics

A three-year post-doctoral position is available in the laboratory of Scott
Poethig, University of Pennsylvania.  This goal of this project is to
develop resources that will facilitate the analysis of vegetative phase
change in Arabidopsis. The candidate will participate in a collaborative
project with Dr. Jim Haseloff to generate, characterize, and exploit
enhancer-trap lines with phase-specific patterns of GAL4-GFP expression.
The candidate will also be expected to explore a variety of other
biochemical and molecular techniques for identifying genes that are
differentially expressed during shoot development.  These markers will be
used to characterize existing phase change mutations and in screens for new
mutations affecting phase change.
