postdoctoral position in ethylene signaling

Paul Larsen paull at ucr.edu
Tue Feb 27 14:55:49 EST 2001

A postdoctoral position is available immediately to study mechanisms of
ethylene signal transduction using Arabidopsis as a model system. An
opportunity exists to determine the role of a negative regulator, EER1,
in ethylene signaling. EER1 represents a factor that works to oppose
ethylene signaling (Plant Physiology 125:1061-1073). The position
will focus on characterization of EER1, which has recently been cloned,
along with a genetic and biochemical analysis to define its target(s).
Extensive experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics is
desirable. Please send a curriculum vitae (by mail, e-mail or fax)
detailing relevant experience and names and addresses of three
