Post-doctoral Position in Plant Signaling

A post-doctoral position is available in my laboratory to study the
extra-large G proteins of Arabidopsis (Lee and Assmann, 1999) using
molecular genetic and biochemical techniques. Approaches include analysis
of knockout and overexpressing lines, reporter gene analysis, yeast two
hybrid assays, and GTPase assays with recombinant protein. Many of the
requisite lines and constructs have already been developed for this work,
and there are several different directions the project could take,
depending on the interests of the applicant.

Applicants should have a Ph.D., a publication record in international
journals, and a strong background in protein biochemistry or Arabidopsis
molecular genetics. Applicants are requested to provide a short summary of
their research interests related to this project along with a c.v., a
description of research skills, and contact information for three
