Canada Research Chair in Plant Cell/Molecular Biology

	The Department of Biology, University of Saskatchewan invites 
from outstanding individuals to be nominated for a Canada Research Chair
(Tier 1 or Tier 2) in plant cell/molecular biology, particularly the cell
cycle.  Candidates should have a strong background in both cell and
molecular biology and an established, high profile research program of
international stature.  Preference will be given to candidates with
research interests that complement strengths in areas of plant
biotechnology, such as stress physiology, pathology, genomics and molecular
genetics, already established at this University or at other national
research institutions in Saskatoon.  The successful applicant's research
program is expected to make use of the Canadian Light Source synchrotron
and contribute to a university-wide research group in biological structure
and function.
	The successful candidate will have a tenure-track appointment in the
Department of Biology in the College of Arts and Science.
