Postdoctoral Position
University of California, Los Angeles

A postdoctoral position is available immediately to study mechanisms
regulating auxin activity during plant development. A number of
projects are available to characterize the function of the protein
kinase PINOID in regulating auxin activity, including determining its
interactions with known auxin signaling components, genetic screens
to identify new components of the signaling pathway, and molecular
analysis of PINOID and its homologues in Arabidopsis. Interested
candidates should send applications, including a letter describing
research interests, a curriculum vitae and contact information for
three references to: Sioux Christensen, University of California, Los
Angeles, Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology,
P.O. Box 951606, Los Angeles, CA, 90095-1606. Applications may also
be submitted by email to sioux at
