Attend the World Event of Genetics: Berlin 2008
Dear colleagues in the Arabidopsis Community,
The traditional International Congress of Genetics, organized under the
auspices of the International Genetics Federation (IGF), is held every fifth
year in alternating host countries. After Beijing (China) in 1998 and
Melbourne (Australia) in 2003, it is now
Berlin (Germany), July 12-17, 2008.
In Berlin, 11 Plenary Events and 54 Concurrent Symposia provide a platform
for 280 of the world´s most prominent geneticists to speak. Also, more than
1200 Posters will be on display. This provides a unique opportunity to keep
abreast with the recent exciting insights of genetic and genomic research,
including their medical, industrial, and societal implications.
