[Arabidopsis] Arabidopsis Conference Funding Opportunities

The North American Arabidopsis Steering Committee is pleased to offer two
funding opportunities for students, postdoctoral scholars, and faculty
working in the U.S. to participate in the upcoming 22nd International
Conference on Arabidopsis Research (June 22-25, 2011, MADISON, WISCONSIN,

colleagues in the U.S. who may wish to take advantage of this opportunity to
join the largest annual Arabidopsis plant biology research conference.
Application deadlines: March 7, 2011
The two types of funding are:
(1) FULL funding (registration, travel, housing) for U.S.
under-represented minorities including: junior/senior level undergraduate
students in biology, graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, and faculty
in plant biology (US citizenship is required). Faculty from
federally-designated MSIs and HBCUs are also eligible (minority status and
US citizenship not required). Please see full eligibility requirements and

Note that participants from NSF 2010-funded labs are not eligible and
individuals may receive this award no more than twice in their career.
(2) Conference registration award funding for U.S. graduate students,
postdoctoral scholars, and junior faculty in plant biology. Please see full
