I need information on the effects of police sirens on the hearing of police 
officiers.  I also need information the effects of the siren for annyoance 
and interference with officiers communication on the radio or in the car.

Information or resoures concerning the acoustic effects of siren placement on 
the top of a squad car or under the hood in the grill is needed.  Any 
references or sources would be helpful.
