CELL AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY OF BONE FORMATION
*UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY
An NIH-funded position is available in July, 1997, to study mechanisms
of transcriptional regulation in osteoblasts. Studies are focused on the
identification and characterization of osteoblast-related promoter
elements and related transcription factors and their regulation by the
extracellular matrix and growth factors. Candidates must have a recent
Ph.D. and strong training in molecular biology with emphasis on
transcriptional regulation and/or extracellular matrix biochemistry.
