From benedict.arnold at bbsrc.ac.uk Mon Jan 12 12:03:19 2004 From: benedict.arnold at bbsrc.ac.uk ("benedict arnold JIC) Date: Mon Mar 7 02:29:43 2005 Subject: Howto make a "big" link Message-ID: Hi, the usual reason for malloc errors is that the process runs out of memory, this is a very commmon occurence on Alpha's. The easiest way to solve it is to add something like unlimit (or ulimit) to the srscheck and srsdo scripts in the $SRSETC directory (that's how I fixed it), you may also need to do that in the wgetz script. As for the other, I've never tried to do that so don't know whether it will work. is supposed to work ... it might be worth emailing Lion asking the question ... it might be a bug after all. hope this helps Ben --- From benedict.arnold at bbsrc.ac.uk Mon Jan 12 12:03:21 2004 From: benedict.arnold at bbsrc.ac.uk ("benedict arnold JIC) Date: Mon Mar 7 02:29:43 2005 Subject: SRS 7.1 Blast Result Link Message-ID: Hi, the relevant file for this post is localApplicationOptions.i in $SRSSITE I think this is probably to do with the $blastList definitions for the databases. The way the links are created is the parser looks for the 2 or 3 letter code at the beginning of the id line of the sequence hit, for a fasta format looking like: >|XXXXX|YYYYY Description if the file containing the sequences used to create the blast database files doesn't match this format, or the database letters don't match any of the ones listed or the name of the databases doesn't match (ie you have emblrelease and emblnew, but no embl virtual library) then the link isn't created. Edit the localApplicationsOptions.i $blastList to match you current setup, run srssection and it should work. hope this helps Ben --- From nata at wseas.org Mon Jan 26 03:12:41 2004 From: nata at wseas.org (WSEAS) Date: Mon Mar 7 02:29:43 2005 Subject: Reviewers for our New Journals // Conferences // Books of WSEAS in ISINET // Call for AUTOMATIC CONTROL Technical Committee of WSEAS Message-ID: <200401232231.i0NMVkYe013691@forthnet.gr> WSEAS will reply to you only if you write the word: WSEAS somewhere in the Subject of your message, ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Contents of this Newsletter (1) THE 4 NEW WSEAS TRANSACTIONS released their first Issue (January 2004).
