Description:
Seeking a highly motivated physician with outstanding scientific vision and 
exceptional leadership ability to thrive in this dynamic, exciting and 
growing biotechnology company. The candidate should have significant 
knowledge of all phases of drug development from preclinical through Phase 
IV trials for biotechnology products and a demonstrated record of success. 
In addition to driving clinical drug development, the individual in this 
position will play a major role in the dissemination of scientific content 
and investor interactions. The candidate must have a strong commitment to 
developing novel treatments for unmet medical needs in an entrepreneurial 
environment.

Responsibilities:
    * Develop clinical development plans to optimize the development of 
company's technology
    * Oversee all medical components of the drug development process
    * Interact with key opinion leaders and investigators
    * Interact with clinical program development teams to ensure successful 
clinical trials
    * Interpret, summarize, and convey information from clinical studies
    * Participate in the preparation of FDA submissions and meetings
    * Be knowledgeable about industry specific regulatory practices and 
procedures
    * Act as the company medical spokesperson

Requirements:

    * M.D. degree, with discipline in Inflammatory Diseases, Autoimmune 
Diseases, Oncology, or Internal Medicine
    * Minimum of 5 years of drug development experience
    * The successful candidate will have experience in the design and 
execution of clinical trials used to support drug registration.
    * Effective communicator and public speaker; excellent written and 
verbal communication skills
    * Ability to work as part of a team, both in a leadership role and as a 
contributing member of the company
    * Experience in biologic drug development
