SALARY   : $40000 - $52000
HOURLY RATE: $19 - $25

We are looking for a Medical Technologist - GENERALIST with at least 1 year
experience.  We have Days and Evening Shifts available.   Will perform
Generalist rotation i.e:  (serology, Chemistry, Hematology or Microbiology).

Must have three or four years of formal education or training beyond high
school or B.S. B.A. degree and be licensed by the State of Florida Department
of Health, Medical Technologist or eligible.  

Must have  successful completion of an accredited clinical laboratory
technologist training program in accordance with the State of Florida
Department of Health, Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel Florida
Administrative Code.

You would be responsible for performing clinical laboratory testing for all
patient types in a timely, efficient and accurate manner in accordance with
state, federal and other regulatory requirements. 

Performs maintenance, quality control and quality assurance for all testing
performed in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and departmental
policies and procedures.  Is able to prioritize workload and demonstrate
flexibility to meet customer and departmental needs.   Actively participates in
process improvement to enhance turnaround times and quality of test results
utilizing decision making and troubleshooting skills. 

Effectively communicates and demonstrates good customer service throughout the
health system to include nursing staff, physicians, patients, co-workers and
other customers and employees.
