Director, In Vivo Pharmacology

We are seeking an accomplished individual with a strong track record in 
developing small molecule therapeutics in the area of inflammation and 
related diseases. This position will be responsible for a growing team of 
scientists working with pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic in vivo drug 
screening, and various disease models. The position will also be responsible 
for external academic and CRO collaborations including planning and 
execution of early toxicology studies.

Your profile:
PhD in immunology, pharmacology or equivalent with 8-10 years experience of 
drug discovery and development in an industry setting.

Proven experience with a strong track record in integrating all different 
aspects of a small molecule development process to support the drug 
selection process, including a working knowledge in DMPK. Experience with 
IND-submission is also required.

In addition to a good understanding of the drug development process, you 
must also have an in-depth understanding of the translation of primary 
immunopharmacology data to more advanced models of inflammatory and other 
related diseases to help guide future selection of preferred clinical 
therapeutic areas.

You must be a highly motivated, enthusiastic and strong team leader with a 
flexible and motivational management style. You should enjoy the challenge 
of working in a team-oriented and multi-tasking environment. Strong 
interpersonal and proven communication skills with a strong scientific 
publication record, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit are required.
