Bioinformatics research and development position
in Genome Informatics and Databases                     November 2007

Genome databases and information systems are increasingly
critical to a range of life sciences. Join our genome
infornmatics team at Indiana University to develop practical
methods for genome information access.

A major focus of this work, in collaboration with Generic Model
Organism Database genome projects, is to integrate TeraGrid and
grid computing with genome analyses. See

Requirements:
* Bioinformatics skills in genome analysis and data management.
* Programming experience,  Java, Perl and Unix preferred.
* PhD or masters degree in a science or equivalent experience. 
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.

This appointment is for up to four years, well suited for a
postdoctoral position, with further work subject to funding.
Salaries are competitive.
