Postdoctoral/Research Associate Positions in immunobiology of
cardiovascular diseases is available immediately to study the
molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying atherosclerosis and
restenosis. Specifically, approaches including viral transfection of
vascular smooth muscle cells, biodistribution of vectors, and local
delivery of transgenes, and biodistribution of vectors will be
utilized in in-stent restenosis model of atherosclerotic swine. The
applicants must have a Doctoral degree (PhD/MD - PhD) with training
in
cell and molecular biology. Experience in gene therapy, transfection
of cells with vectors, molecular biology techniques are desirable.
