The incumbent will join the interdisciplinary program of theory and modeling on multiple length and time scales, which addresses frontier challenges in bionanosciences, nanomaterials, and nanodevices. The incumbent will closely interact with the staff of the Theory and Modeling Group and experimental collaborators on the project. The position requires most of the following: - PhD in biophysics/computational biology/theoretical physics/chemistry or a related field, received within last 5 years; - Experience in large-scale biomolecular simulations, including molecular modeling of proteins, molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo simulations, free energy calculations; - Experience in protein structure prediction, sequence and structure alignment, docking; - Experience in development and implementation of methods of theoretical biological physics and computational biology; - Fluency in scientific programming; - Demonstrated record of research productivity; - Excellent oral and written communication skills; - Experience of collaboration with experimentalists will be considered an asset.
