All living organism struggle for energy. It can not happen until
something inside them figure out shorteg of energy and send 'signal' to
look for energy. That signal is feeling. We human being feel it. I am
just trying to understand inside jungle of atoms, who feels it.

I read about virus. They don't look for energy or store it. They just
replicate in host cell. But how does virus know that it is inside host
cell and should become active?

But this question is like how does electron detect presence of proton?
