Regulation of Epithelial Cell Function by Rho Family GTPases
Applications are invited from suitably qualified postdoctoral scientists
to work on a three year project funded by the MRC. The project will
analyse how the Rho family of small GTP-binding proteins regulate
epithelial cell function using a model epithelial culture system - human
epidermal keratinocytes. The work will involve analysis of keratinocyte
function following single cell microinjection of recombinant Rho family
proteins. Experience of microinjection is not required, as full training
will be given. Experience of basic molecular biology techniques would be a
distinct advantage. The successful candidate will be based in a newly
refurbished laboratory with excellent support services.
The position is available from 1 January 1997. Starting salary #14,317 to
#15,986.
