new molecular mapping kit

David Stern and collaborators at Cornell have designed a kit for 
rapid mapping of new mutants.  The mutant is crossed to the 
polymorphic strain S1 D2 and progeny are screened by PCR and 
electrophoresis using a set of primers for markers distributed across 
the 17 linkage groups.
